This tablet features Android 3.x Honeycomb (will get Android 4.0), a 7.7-inch 1280x800p AMOLED Plus display, a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, WiFi/Bluetooth 3.0, a 3.2 MP rear-facing camera and a 2 MP front-facing shooter.

Vauxhall has three big reveals planned for the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, one of them being the 280-horsepower Vauxhall Astra VXR that was announced last November as the Opel Astra OPC. That means the 2.0-liter turbo four lives underhood, and in addition to 276 ponies, it dishes out 295 pound-feet of torque. Handling is aided by the limited-slip differential for the front axle, the HiPerStrut suspension and the "fully adaptive FlixRide system.". Vauxhall's also got a concept "pedelec" bicycle called the "RAD e" headed to the show.

Apple has already bought the trademark from Proview in 2006, but apparently the deal is not loophole-proof. Proview's unit in Shenzhen, China, claims it owns the rights to use “iPad” in China. The company has sued Apple last December for $1.6 billion and the Chinese court ruled in Proview's favor.

Want to know how much that 2005 BMW M3 in the parking lot is going for right now. Just point and shoot. We tested the app ourselves and found it to be fairly accurate. It had no trouble honing in on a Toyota Sienna, but struggled a bit with editor-in-chief John Neff's 1991 Ford Taurus SHO.

The good news is that if the app gets confused, it just asks you for more information about the vehicle.

Remember the Sony Xperia S that was launched during CES 2012 last month. Dropbox has announced the release of its new Dropbox app for Android and a sweet promotion to go along with it. Upon the completion of your first automatic upload, you'll be given an additional 500MB of storage. Remember Boston Dynamics' Petman. This is more or less a BigDog, except that it moves around on two legs in an extremely stable manner. Kicking it will not send it down to the floor (or canvas, depending on where it is walking on at the moment), and Petman has proven to be an inspiration for the BioBipeds robot. Researchers at the SIM Group of TU Darmstadt and the Locomotion Laboratory of Jena University intend to deliver heel-to-toe walking capability with the BioBipeds, where these musculoskeletal robots will incorporate elasticity in order to achieve energy efficient standing, walking, as well as running.

Harley-Davidson sales grew 5.9% in 2011

Last year was a good one for Harley-Davidson. According to Asphalt and Rubber, the American bike manufacturer saw its sales increase by 5.9 percent globally compared to 2010. Sales in the U.S., meanwhile, were up 5.8 percent. All told, Harley-Davidson managed to move 235,188 units last year, with 151,683 of those heading to owners in the States. Those figures mean the manufacturer managed to post a net income of $105.6 million last year. By contrast, during the fourth quarter of 2010 the company saw a net loss of $46.7 million.

The global recession hadn't been kind to the company.

LG E740 gets Bluetooth cert, may be the Fantasy with Windows Phone on board

LG hasn't so far released a sequel to the Optimus 7, its first Windows Phone device which it launched in 2010. While that's still a capable offering, especially in the single-core WP world, HTC and Samsung did come up with second-generation WP devices, so LG should probably follow suit. Less than a year after everyone with any sort of say in the matter seemed to agree that 54.5 miles per gallon by the year 2025 was a properly attainable goal, the California Air Resources Board has decided to change things up a bit. In addition to CAFE requirements of a 54.5-mpg fleet average (using the government's formula, not what you see on window stickers), at least 15.4 percent of all cars sold by any major automaker doing business in California will have to be either fully electric, a plug-in hybrid or be powered by a hydrogen fuel cell by 2025.

LG's upcoming Optimus 3D sequel, the CX2, could be sold as the 3D Max

The LG CX2 got leaked a few days ago as the successor to the first 3D-enabled smartphone, the LG Optimus 3D. Yet CX2 is obviously just a codename (or, worst case scenario, will be used as the model number when it launches). So then one has to wonder what this device will end up being sold as. Thankfully, it now seems that it won't be labelled the Optimus 3D 2. According to GSM-Israel, a very reliable source said it would be called 3D Max. It's unclear if it will keep the Optimus branding that so far has been seen in every Android device to come out of LG – or not.

So it may be the LG 3D Max, or the LG Optimus 3D Max.

LG has just announced that sales of the Optimus LTE have now exceeded over one million units, putting it as one of the best selling LTE phones of today. The world's first HD LTE phone was first launched in Korea in October last year and hit 600,000 units in the first 3 months, making it the most popular LTE phone there.
